I invite us to consider the tools we have in place when the unexpected happens. We know that out of nowhere, in the twinkling of an eye, everything can change.

Let’s consider creative ways to address inevitable change with Emotional Maturity. Honing this quality of an expansive approach can feel alchemical. It’s possible to transmute much of the lead of heavy, dense, current events into a shift toward releasing the burdens and allowing the light to shine through.

This can happen through a willingness to ‘walk around the circle.’

 

The Circadian Circle of the Natural Year

Keep in mind that we orient from the center. We like to say that we ‘work from home/OM’ We all meet there.

We can trust our own creative process when we are first acclimated in the center. From the center, we can explore in a number of ways. Here on the blog, we tend to note the season and what it offers, however, the circle also reminds us that it is flexible and provides us with a daily, a moon/monthly, and a yearly creative focus tool. Experience, Introspection, and Strength

What a beautiful meditation this trio offers. Consider the experiences that you have had since April 2023. From there reflect/introspect on what parts of your art/life have died, fallen away, and what it is that has remained, we could say, rebirthed itself to show you its viability, aliveness, and strength.

Focus on what is possible as you experience, and introspect your lived empowerment, your true strength leading you to recognize the power of being you now. Play with these three. Invite them to sit with you. Listen to the counsel they provide.

When we look at the top half of the circle we are focused on the feminine power segment of each year. The moon/months of October through March take us down into the Womb Cave, the Orenda, the Hara, and the Feminine Nature: the deep within. This is a journey that never repeats. Each time the circle turns it opens into growth and a deepened potential for self-expression.
