The moon/month of June carries the keyword of Brilliance.

I send you all the best as you discover the ways in which joyfulness and peace come forward supporting you to shine bright.
Every June the opportunity to spiral UP^ arrives like a seed climbing a trellis. You are encouraged, naturally, to create in new and different ways. You may feel the uplift as you engage this opportunity. The chance to change is fresh and new each time the spotlight illuminates this point on the Circadian Circle of the year. Here is the story that my creative energy had me shining my light onto just one year ago. I had never experienced this part of my creative voice and it is leading me to explore even more the flowering that has followed.
This year offers each of us the space to face addictive habits. Take a moment to lovingly look at what holds you fast and attempts to keep you stuck. Notice without judgment and gently give yourself permission to drop 1% of the pattern each week during the summer. That one intention gifts you with structure. You ought not to expect a new way of acting to suddenly appear … like any seed you need simply to provide the optimum conditions. For example; I know that my garden will be overrun by weeds in a matter of weeks unless I tend it. I apply the 1% permission ratio by keeping a gallon pail at the entrance to the garden. Each day I make the weeding task manageable and enjoyable by simply filling that pail. As I pull each weed out by its roots I use it as a metaphor for removing my weed thoughts. That turns the exercise into a creative sport and many days I fill the pail several times with ease … making PWP … progress without pressure!

From summer solstice, June 20 until fall equinox, September 22, you are presented with 12 weeks/90 days to carefully tend and nurture your most brilliant capacity to grow and expand. Through this delightful creative engagement, you gain the trust necessary for the new trail that is unfolding during this active time of the natural year.
This week I was invited by the NAAEE (North American Association for Environmental Educators) to write a guest blog post sharing a bit of the history of our tree farm/retreat to commemorate World Environment Day, June 5.
