Wise Woman Joanne Warfield has referred to this approach as that of the Heartist. I hold the image of this designation for us all.\n\nI\u2019m impassioned by the way expressive arts (writing, music,<span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">&nbsp;dance, photography, visual arts, etc.) naturally contribute to the healing evolution of individual and collective trauma.<\/span>\n\nI believe that we can improve the quality of the day by being centered and willing to shift our scared parts into the sacred present\u2026thus being true to who we really are\u2026radiant and brilliantly expressive beings.\nAs a result of continuously developing my passion for well-being by aligning with the natural rhythm of the seasons I have been invited to speak publicly, present workshops, and design dozens of healing arts retreats. For more than a decade I have written and published a yearly article tracking the creative potential of the prevailing energetic field of the year. Recently I developed a public art project: \u2018Life in Transit\u2019 where individual 'wounds are turned into shared wisdom\u2019 through creative community outreach.\n\nI'm endlessly fascinated and dedicated to imagining the expressive possibility and our ability to live joyfully and in balance.
