There’s a lot to consider when creating a large work in a small amount of time. It’s an interesting and fascinating challenge. Day 4 of 5 days and we went from very loose in the a.m. to a quite fragmented but ‘well along’ place by the end of this day; tomorrow is the wrap.
Every student, teacher and parent who has stopped by to see the paintings’ progress has been genuinely enthused by what is appearing. This is an elelmentary school with cougar as mascot so naturally we include this formidable cat that once inhabited the region…plus a turtle for my artist/scientist pal Mr. Duncan….in addition to sundry other birds and beasts of this peaceable kingdom.
